‘Toad of Toad Hall’

11th to 13th and 18th -20th December 2008 at 7.45pm plus Matinees on both Saturdays

Our Christmas ‘play with music’ in 2008 was Toad of Toad Hall. It was directed by Dave Goodall. This was his directorial debut at the Warehouse although he comes to us with many years acting and directing experience.

This well known tale, adapted by AA Milne from Kenneth Grahame’s ‘Wind in the Willows’ appeals to all ages. The swaggering, boastful Toad’s adventures take us from a peaceful picnic on the riverbank to the sinister goings-on in the Wild Wood; from the hilarious procedures in the courtroom to the comic disguises in Toad’s prison cell and from the suspense in the escape tunnel to the bloody fight in the Banqueting hall - before all ends happily!
