‘The Three Musketeers’ by Willis Hall
Directed by Philip Wells

Playing dates - 29th October to 1st November 2008

This production is now cast and in rehearsal.

A lively, swashbuckling romp, this tongue-in-cheek version of the classic story follows the story of D’artagnan, a poor Gascon youth who goes to Parish to join the Musketeers and make his fortune. He is befriended by three of the Musketeers, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, sharing their adventures and foiling the evil plans of Cardinal Richelieu and Milady DeWinter to expose the love affair between Queen Anne and the Duke of Buckingham, discrediting her. Slick, sexy and full of sword fighting. The original book was based between 1625 - 1628. Some of the characters are based on genuine people in history and others are fictional.
