'A Film Noir Pantomime..’
Things aren't going well in La La land for Private Dick Sam Whittington. He's lonely, broke and out of work, and his secretary is threatening to quit. Even worse, his long-deceased partner, Felix Lines, wants to give him advice, and ghosts are never good for business.
Then, along comes the case he's been dreaming of - big bucks offered by a big buxom woman. Setting out on the trail of missing girls, he is drawn into a deadly gangster underworld, lorded over by Nathanial King, "The Rat", and will need all his wits to survive.
