We will put details of our next Directors’ Proposal Evening at the theatre when we have a confirmed date. They are an open, friendly meeting for anyone interested in directing at The Warehouse Theatre. It’s a chance to share ideas, suggest plays, and talk through possibilities for future productions in a friendly and supportive setting. If you want to contact us before this happens and have an idea, please have a look at the forms below and get in contact with us.
 

Previous experience is required before taking on a full length play but we welcome proposals for short one act plays between 20 and 50 minutes for those seeking to gain some further experience.

NEXT PRODUCTION PROPOSAL EVENING

 

Got a show you’ve always wanted to direct? An idea you think would be brilliant on our stage?

We’re looking ahead to our 2027 and 2028 seasons and want to hear from creative directors who have ideas for future productions.

This is an opportunity to come along and share your ideas with us — whether you already have a clear vision for a particular show, have a favourite piece you’d love to direct, or simply have an idea you’d like to explore.

You’ll have the chance to talk through your proposal, tell us what excites you about the production and share your thoughts on how you’d bring it to life. It’s also a great opportunity to hear what other creatives are considering and start conversations about future projects.
